We are a small group of people who specializes in private and personalized walking tours in Kyoto. Our aim is to help our customers to utilize best their precious time in Kyoto by offering specially crafted walking tours covering Kyoto's top attractions. When it comes to a trip, we know that you have your goals and preferences. We would love to hear about them and help you have a unique and unforgettable Kyoto experience. Postgraduate students and scholars graduated from Japanese universities, our guides have vast knowledge of Japanese history and culture because they have been living here for several years and are experts in their fields. Their high academic level makes them proficient not only in everything Kyoto but also in the way of life in Japan and its rich history. Tom , 10/10 tour guide of Kyoto

I took this tour with my 77 yr old mother, the guide Tom was excellent. Tom was able to customise the tour to the parts of Kyoto we were interested in. At the beginning of the tour Tom asked us what we wanted mostly to gain from the tour, and we wanted to hear about the history of Kyoto and Japan in general. The knowledge that Tom had was outstanding. Not only did he provide expert commentary, Tom kept the pace of the tour appropriate to our ability. We had a combination of walking and taking local taxi's, and saw things we wouldn't have if we didn't have Tom guiding us.

Our tour guide Pete took our family of 5 for a guided walking tour in Kyoto. He was fantastic, very knowledgeable on the sites , local inā€™s and out and transport. He was also ok about making extra stops (Ie shops on the way!) and helped change the itinerary to help work around a sick party member. Definitely recommend a personal guide over a big group tour. Tour was early December and we were very lucky to get so many red/yellow autumn colors still showing.

Great tour of Arashiyama area of Kyoto with Tom-san

We visited the Nomomiya Shrine, Bamboo Forest, Okochi Sanso Garden, Togetsukyo Bridge, Horin-ji Buddhist Temble and Monkey Park. The small entry fee for Okochi Sanso Garden was totally worth it (make sure you get tea and visit the memorial to the famous actor that founded this garden). Our guide Tom was very nice and informative. We really enjoyed our time with him and the lunch we shared together. We appreciated learning about what we should and shouldn't do at shrines and temples in order to respect local culture. The walk up to Monkey Park is a little bit of a hike and we enjoyed seeing the monkeys and the view from up there. Thank you Tom!

Jose is a fantastic tour guide. He's knowledgeable about Kyoto and took me to so many beautiful places. My tour was full of vibrant colors and beauty... everything I was hoping for and more. It was a wonderful tour.
