Awesome Food tour with Yutaka

We had an amazing walking food tour with Yutaka who was very knowledgeable about the history of Kyoto and has a very good level of English. The food we ate was delicious and the Nishiki Market was very cool. Our kids also loved the tour.

Yutaka Yoshida poured out his love for his home city of Kyoto. Teaching us about the traditional townhomes, Geisha, the schools in Japan. Nishiki Market was so enjoyable with someone who could point out new items and explain them. He was even willing to have us reach out to him with any questions after the tour. Nishiki market had some great samples, so come hungry! Great day!

We had a wonderful tour with Aki. She brought us into the history and current culture of Kyoto, and encouraged us to try many different foods. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with her and the other tourists on our trip.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Yutaka was amazingly knowledgeable and kind. He arranged the whole trip in a way that gave context to the history of the area and how it led to the formation of Nishiki Market before we even set for in it. He gave tons of information about the different foods we sampled as we explored the Market. At the end we had the pleasure of having lunch with him and discussing life!
