Overview

Discover Nara's must-see landmarks on the deluxe coach tour and try to make Matcha tea at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of matcha. We will drive pass Fushimi Castle and Heijokyo Palace on the way to Nara. We will visit Todaiji Temple, a house of the Great Buddha of Nara and it is one of the worldā€™s largest wooden buildings. Meet about 1,400 deer at Nara Park, you can even feed them rice crackers. Then we visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine where 3000 magical stone lanterns enlighten you. Nara and Uji

It was a lovely tour of Nara and Uji. The tour itinerary is well thought out, with no time wasted but also having enough time for each activity. Our guide Mai was very friendly, helping with questions and requests . I found the lunch a bit stale, and the matcha experience was a bit simple, but I still enjoyed them.

We had a lovely tour with Mai. We got to experience Kyoto, Nara and Uji with her. We were traveling with our five year old daughter and out eight year old autistic son (which can be a challenge sometimes). She made everything so smooth for then and they really enjoyed being in the tour. My son got to be her ā€œassistant for the dayā€ and he was so proud. She has amazing visuals to help us understand the places we are going to and what we will be seeing. We even had a mini Japanese lesson on the bus. Totally recommend it!
