Moreover, you can try 3 different kinds of Sake produced in Kyoto, so you can enjoy authentic Kyoto sake with Kyoto foods! Vegetalian course is available.     We will stop by a traditional restaurant that serves Kyoto local foods such as Obanzai (Kyoto vegetable plates).

  • Pontocho District

    We will try another Kyoto local cuisine at the second stop. Pontocho is located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, and is a red-light district and entertainment district between the Kamo River and Kiyamachi Street. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops.

    At the final stop, we'll taste Japanese sake at the standing bar. Also soft drinks are available.

  • Kamogawa River (Pass By)

    Kamogawa River The Kamo River is a river that runs from north to south through Kyoto City, stretching for about 27km, originating near Mount Sajikigatake and flowing to the confluence with the Katsura River. It is a river that has nurtured the capital and Kyoto culture for a thousand years throughout its long history, and even today, in the midst of a large city, it maintains its clarity and is loved by many as a place of relaxation.

Quality Kyoto Food Tour

Yumi was a great tour guide. Having grown up in Kyoto, she not only knew the history of the city, she also made it accessible to a group new to Kyoto. The food locations created enough space to eat and drink without feeling hurried and it was a great introduction to the different types of restaurants in Kyoto cuisine. If you are looking to go to Kyoto this is a great way of getting a sense of the city and food scene before heading out and exploring on your own.

Rika Yamagchui was a wonderful guide! Very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, bar was fun with the K pop music and the dessert tasty. It was nice to meet Geisha and invited to take a picture with. We have fun with new friends!

Everything tasted delicious! We tried many new things that were very foreign to us but were definitely worth trying. Yumi and Matt were our guides and they were excellent at answering many questions and very personable.
