Overview

On the East side of Madeira lies a really popular tour which offers dramatic mountain and forest views, as well as some of the best coastal views available on the island. The tour, which includes a three-course meal, is done in modern air-conditioned minibuses that only seat 8 or 15 people plus the guide/driver.

Directions: For all tourists coming off a cruise ship we will collect you from the first roundabout coming out from the harbour. This is ... a 5 minute walk. Stunning views on this trip provided by Secret Madeira. The driver Tony was very informative and told us the history of the island as well as details of the places we visited, He also pointed out the many different plants and vegetation on the island. Lovely meal reservation at Restaurant O Colin in Santana.

This was an amazing experience. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Gamma our guide was very knowledgeable and his passion for Madeira showed through. We saw the different areas of Madeira and it is totally different to the West side. The viewing points were well spaced out and the right amount of time.
