Whales and Dolphins Watching Tour: Come experience the marvellous nature of the south west sea of Madeira Island on board a refined and comfortable motor yacht. Feel the happiness of being near the wild marine nature: dolphins, whales, turtles, and other amazing animals that we can find! Be there and join them while they cruise along on their journey in the open seas. Enjoy the Atlantic Ocean from a luxurious view and cruise on its waters discovering the Island by sea.

Itinerary

The meeting point is at On Tales store in Calheta's Marina, 15 minutes before departure time. Your Captain and the team will give you a warm welcome, where you will have the chance to hear about some safety procedures and tour details. Also, if you have any worries or requests, feel free to expose to the Team accompanying you. The Captain will lead you to the yacht Miranda. During this tour, you will have the chance to Swim and Snorkel along the coastline and experience the calm, warm and clear water of the south west sea of Madeira Island. Be there and admire its rocky bottom and its marine life. Depending on weather conditions, you can choose the place you want to dive or the village you want to see. On our way back, let us hear about your adventure, enjoy a sun bath and chill out on board Miranda with cold drinks offered by On Tales boat team.

Great experience and exceptional crew

We spontaneously decided on the boat tour and are very happy about it. The whole team was super nice and helpful and the trip was excellently organized (towels in their own bags, drinks etc. were provided for free). The crew even took pictures of the guests during the trip, which are sent to you via a link. We do a lot of boat trips on all our vacations and prefer boats with small groups (we were 10 people) and you could tell that the whole team is very keen to give the guests a great experience. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend On Tales. We were able to see whales on our tour and a swimming stop is offered, but this was too cold for us in December. The sunset was stunning too. The yacht is comfortable and very large, the only thing that would make it even better would be seat cushions in the front part of the yacht, but these are available in the back. Big thanks to the Team for this great trip!

Every aspect of our trip was conducted in a friendly and professional manner. Highlights were 1) lovely well maintained boat 2) clear safety briefing and what to expect from our trip. 3) seeing the animals up close in their natural environment 4) access to 200+ photos of our trip customised to us.

The tour with on tales in calheta was amazing. The people were so friendly and helpful. They really tried to make the best out of it. We had such a nice experience. They were so friendly to the animals and we were able to see them in their natural behavior. It just felt wonderful. We had the later cruise so we were able to se a stunning sunset. Would totally recommend.

Perfect first time unbelievable experience to observe pilot wales in 20 meters , in our 3 hours trips appeared 3 times. I would recommend 100% when visiting Caletha on Madeira trip.
