Overview

Aboard this sailing catamarans you will enjoy the beauty of the Madeiran coast with comfort and stability. Possibility of watching Dolphins, Whales and Turtles. Madeira has different species of cetacean throughout the year. Some more common on the warm summer months and others more common on the cooler winter season. So, sightings are possible all year long. We stop for swimming during the summer and snorkeling equipment is available on board subject to a deposit. Bar service is also available on board

Itinerary

Departing from Funchal marina we will search for dolphins and whales on their natural habitat. During the summer we stop for swimming under Cabo Girão great promontory. Snorkeling equipment is available (subject to a deposit). Bar service is available on board. We are very committed to a responsible dolphin and whale watching experience and passing our knowledge to you! We believe we can make a difference when we respect the wildlife, collect all garbage found on the sea and reduce the of single use plastic as much as we can. We ensure a timely departure for all our guests. Please arrive to our office in Funchal Marina 30 minutes before departure were we will exchange your ticket for a boarding card. Please note that if you miss the boat, you will not be eligible for a refund.

This is a must do while in Madeira, the trip was very smooth and pleasant we got to see Pilot Whales. The boat starts in Funchal bay heading towards the deserted inlands so you can get a look at Whales and Dolphins, right after this the boat head towards Cabo Girão sand stops there for about 30 Minutes, i believe that in the summer months they will stop so you can swim , after our stop we head slowly to Funchal passing by Câmera De Lobos (where i am from) this is the most beautiful fisherman village in Madeira. The fish there is always fresh and you must try the traditional fisherman's Poncha as this is the original one. Once in Funchal you Disembark just by Praça Do Povo and they have some nice places for a bite or a drink. The trip is around 3 Hours and the booking slots are 10:30 Am and then again around 3PM to 5PM Hope you enjoy as much we did

This really is a fun trip! The views were just gorgeous of Funchal and the surrounding coastline. The staff were so friendly and did their very best to find dolphins and pilot whales. They were great to watch. Don't forget your swim suit!The weather was perfect so they sailed to the edge of the cliffs and you had an opportunity to swim. Fun trip!
