Terrific time in Madeira

We had a terrific time on this excursion! Miguel grew up on the island of Madeira, so he is extremely knowledgeable about the whole island. He took us to some popular tourist places, but also to several local places too! Even on the more popular places, he took us at off times. We highly recommend Miguel.

Best Tour Company, Guide and Tour! Don't Miss It!

We have been on a lot of tours, especially when we have been on cruises. This tour was a shore excursion. After reading a lot of reviews, I selected, this tour with My Guide Madeira. It was by far the best tour we have taken in a long, long time! We took it as a private tour (the two of us), but it was very economical. We saw, I am sure, more on the island than anything anyone else saw during the same port day! Our guide, Miguel was throrough, organized and planned the day the opposite of the hoardes of tour buses. This allowed us to see more and without packs of people. Miguel answered so many questions about the island, adding to the history and cultural information we wanted to know. We preferred site seeing to sitting for a long lunch and surprise, he had packed a picnic for us which allowed us to snack and not waste any time in a restaurant. Miguel was flexible to our needs but also had a plan to pack as much into a day as possible. The tour was amazing and far more than we could have hoped for the money. One other big positive is the Luis, the owner or manager that I dealt with at My Guide Madeira was very helpful in setting everything up. He communicated quickly and was responsive to my questions. This really helped us know where and when to meet so we wasted no time getting started on port day. Huge Kudos to My Guide Madeira, Miguel and Luis!! And we loved Madeira!
