Overview

Enjoy a beautiful and pleasant tour alongside Madeira’s North West Coast, deep in to the forest, thru forgotten and enchanted old roads. Travel along narrow and forgotten stone plastered roads, off road and soak up the scenery. Get a glimpse into the true lifeblood which drives us through life. Enjoy a 15 minutes at a "levada", our water aqueducts that start building at the 15th century and stills using today, learn abour our native forest & flora and the natural reserve of UNESCO. When the weather allows it, you can swim at the volcanic lava pools in Porto Moniz or at Seixal.

Excellent trip in a 4 by 4. Picked up on time from our hotel by Pedro - our guide. He was chatty & helpful & well informed and made the trip enjoyable. Swimming in the natural pools was nice - although initially the water felt cold which was natural as it was December but you get used to it quickly. Certainly something to consider doing in Madeira

Great tour to orient around the different towns on the island! Cloudy day in the mountains so no views but nice setting to see the forest in. Pools and beach were great to see, although closed this time of year because of the weather.
