We will pick you up at your accommodation and welcome you to meet Sintra! :) Apart from non-touristic viewpoints inside the natural park, we welcome you to decide which monument you wish to visit inside (more than one will be very exhausting, trust us!) After crossing the mountain, we arrive to where the land and the sea begins: Cabo da Roca, the most westerly point of mainland Europe! Following by the beautiful ocean we reach Cascais, the scenic fishing village and a former vacation destination for the Portuguese Royal family! * If your choice is to visit Pena Palace, and don't want the ticket included option, please purchase the tickets to 10am time slot. *If you choose Pena Palace tickets included Option, don't need to worry about the tickets * If you bring children, please inform us directly of their ages.

We provide a pick-up and drop-off at ALL and any Hotels, Accomodations (airbnbs), Lisbon Airport or Lisbon Port in any of the following locations: Lisbon Sintra Ericeira Cascais ONLY if the we see that the address given is in a difficult location to park/stop, we will may need to ask you to ... meet us in another central location not more than 5 min walk from the initial address given. IMPORTANT: IF NOTHING IS SAID IN CONTRARY THE PICK UP IS AT 8:30AM AT THE LOCATION PROVIDED BY YOU. Your Guide will be waiting for you at main entrance and will be wearing a Wondervan uniform.     Welcome to our Home town! Apart from non-touristic viewpoints inside the natural park (and obviously the stunning nature, that will be everywhere you look) , we welcome you to decide which monument you wish to visit in the inside ( more than one will be very exhausting for one day only, believe us!) and give you our best recommendations to help you decide! You will get to see all of them from the outside or viewpoints, don’t worry - 3. Oh , before leaving Sintra, we have a special wine related treat for you, but we will keep it a surprise for now!

  • Park and National Palace of Pena

    This will be one of the possibilities for you to visit in the inside! Yes, it’s exactly the one you’re thinking of, the famous fairy-tail like, colorful Palace on the top of the mountain - Pena Palace!

  • Castelo dos Mouros (Pass By)

    Another of Sintra's many attractions you can choose to visit - Sits next to Pena Palace, on the top of the mountain showing off its fortress walls and breathtaking views!

  • Sintra National Palace (Pass By)

    Another of the monuments that you can choose to visit The mesmerizing first Palace made in Portugal and its iconic chimneys sits in the middle of Sintra Historical center! You can visit the Palace in the inside or just stool around the center's narrow streets and get a taste of the best local pastries!

  • Quinta da Regaleira (Pass By)

    This is another of the possibilities that you can choose to visit! A one of a kind property, with tons of mystical references, mystery gardens, enigmatic grottoes and of course the famous Iniciatic Well!

  • Cabo da Roca

    After crossing the mountain, we arrive to where the land ends and the sea begins: the most westerly point of mainland Europe! Please make sure you get your camera ready because this place is a real-life postcard!

    Following by the beautiful ocean-front roads & white sandy beaches such as Guincho we reach our last destination, the scenic fishing village and a former vacation destination for the Portuguese Royal family! Here you will have free time to stroll around the village and it's cobbled streets!

Amazing tour!

I would highly recommend Wonder Van Tours based out of Sintra! My husband and I just left Lisbon and on our way back home. We did not rent a car, but still wanted to get out and see as much as we could. We came across Wonder Van Tours in our research, and booked two tours with them! One on Friday and one Sunday. The absolute highlight of our trip! We did the Wonders of Sintra and Cascais tour and the Mafra and Ericeira tour. Both tours were guided by the best tour guide we could’ve asked for - Alex (pictured below in the middle). He was extremely professional, polite, passionate about this country and all he showed us, funny, and totally personable. We did private tours, so it was just myself, my husband, and Alex. He was prompt to pick us up, a great driver, and told us all the information we could’ve hoped for. It was also really great for us to have one-on-one interactions with a local like Alex to really learn all about Portugal. Alex made a lasting impression with us and we are genuinely sad our tours have come to an end and we won’t get to spend another day with him. I would highly recommend this company and if possible, request Alex as your tour guide! You will not be disappointed.

Cascais and Sintra fantastic tour!

Alex was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! He is super knowledgeable and personable. My mom and I had a fantastic time in Cascais and Sintra complete with Alex’s recommendations, stories filled with history and humor, and all in all I’d say this was a highlight of our entire trip to Portugal. Could not recommend Wonder Van more!
