Overview

Discover Sintra, former Summer Residence of the Portuguese Kings, classified as UNESCO World Heritage site, just outside Lisbon, on our small group tour. Guided visit to Pena Palace with ticket included (optional) and free time at the historical center. After lunch, the tour continues to the western most point of Europe (Cabo da Roca), followed by a visit to Cascais Fisherman Village. The tour will also pass through Estoril, on the coast.

Great experience. Our tour lady Philipa was AMAZING. She explained all the history and was great with ud. We can have fre time and enjoy as a family. Go to Piriquita a great bakery with local flavors.many tours head to the Palácio da Pena, one of Sintra’s most famous landmarks. This colorful, eccentric palace atop a hill offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The architectural style blends medieval, Renaissance, and Moorish influences, making it a photographer's dream. Inside, the palace is a maze of rooms, each more fascinating than the last, from lavishly decorated chambers to winding corridors.Sintra’s charm lies not only in its landmarks but also in its enchanting atmosphere. Our guide Nino was very welcoming, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and certainly knew his history of all the places we visited and the details of the place, its vast history of items and people. He was more than happy to answer any questions about anything re the tour/Portugal.
