The guide will make your own itinerary. Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) : The highlight of Kinkakuji Temple is the golden Shariden Hall. It is said that this building was built with the image of the Pure Land. Its beauty is breathtaking. In addition, the 600-year-old pine tree called "Rokushumatsu" is one of the three most famous pines in Kyoto and symbolizes a boat heading to the Pure Land. It is also a typical Japanese Zen garden.

Kyoto was just beautiful. Even though it was winter, the autumnal leaves were still showing! Thank you to Osamu-san who was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. He was patient and he took us to the best spots for photos!

Takuma showed my family and I around Kyoto. We really enjoyed his company and the facts he was able to share. He spoke good English and we were able to make the most of the 8 hours. We saw 4 unique locations, although we do wish we could have seen a bit more of some of them! Maybe for next time!
