Bar hopping in the backstreets of Pontochoā—¼ļøŽ To start this All-in-one bar hopping walking tour that Drinks & Foods are all included, our local guide will take you to an izakaya bar (a local tavern) on Pontocho street, one of the most well known night streets, full of local izakayas. We will be taking you to places only the locals know and recommend, making for a one and only experience! ā—¼ļøŽVarious drink and izakaya food tastingsā—¼ļøŽ We'll continue bar hopping walking around in the backstreets of Kyoto. You can try some authentic izakayas that serve yakitori or sashimi with crisp, cold draft beer. If you're a sake-lover, we will help you navigate through a sake standing bar that serves Kyoto-made sake. You can enjoy the night like a local! The bar hopping tour with Yumi was a great! The local bars we went to had a great vibe, perfect for what I was looking for. Had a great time chatting with Yumi all night about any topic. I recommend this to anyone.

This tour was a great way to get a sample of different dishes (and drinks) at a few different izakaya spots in Kyoto. Ataru was an awesome guide - very friendly and knowledgeable about everything, had great stories to tell, and helped give recommendations on things to try and each place. If you're trying to maker dinner plans in Kyoto, would definitely recommend this experience!
