Walking tour of Gion Geisha district

Published on Dec, 2024

Melanie was amazing. Interesting, funny, spoke English really well and had fantastic knowledge of the area. She made the tour interesting and was happy to take the time to answer all of our questions. It was really cold last night, but she never rushed the tour or missed anything off. She was polite and caring. Iā€™d definitely recommend this tour and Melanie as your guide.

Awesome walking tour to learn about Geishaā€™s!

Published on Dec, 2024

Not knowing a whole lot on the history of Geishaā€™s, my dad and I booked this walking tour. The 2 hours went by extremely fast as our tour guide told many stories and facts on Geisha culture while walking around the Gion district (bonus: you also walk by the oldest Kabuki theatre!). Would definitely recommend as an activity to do while visiting Kyoto!
