The early start allowed us to get to the sites before the crowds. The places were not to be missed, but what really made this a fantastic tour was our guide, Hiro. He was thoughtful, relayed the cultural significance to us, and his English was excellent. Best of all, he truly conveyed his love of Kyoto and Japan to us.
