History, Art & Beauty in Kyoto!

While we had been to Kyoto before, we decided to take a private guided tour on this trip and our guide was Kaori-san. Kaori-san was very accommodating in allowing us to customize our tour and also included temples/places that I would have never thought of going to myself, but also taking us to well-known sights in Kyoto that we did want to visit. Kaori-sanā€™s knowledge of Kyoto and its history made this private guided tour even more enjoyable. Arigatou gozaimasu, Kaori-san for helping to make our trip back to Kyoto memorable with your knowledge and taking our photos at every stop. Highly recommend!

Kaori was our best guide in Japan She helped us plan out the trip went out of her way to help us with restaurant reservations and recommendations She also was incredibly flexible when we showed up in Kyoto exhausted and revamped our entire itinerary!! I canā€™t say enough good things about her

Great tour of shrines and temples in Kyoto

Our guide, Kaori, was lovely and very considerate (eg she brought umbrellas and fans for everyone, which was very helpful in the heat) and we managed to fit in a lot. Would highly recommend her as a guide. Last time we visited Kyoto, we didnā€™t make it to many shrines or temples so this was a great way to fit in a lot of ā€˜must seeā€™ sights without getting lost or wasting time. We also got a lot more out of them than if we had tried to do it ourselves as Kaori explained the traditions and background at each stop. The timing and location of the tour works perfectly if you want to see a performance at Gion Corner afterwards then have dinner in Gion.

The tour was enhanced by Kaori, our guide. She is so knowledgeable and pleasant that we saw things we never would have noticed otherwise. I particularly enjoyed the Kannon temple and the temple next to it, which has an amazing garden. Kyoto was made even more beautiful with Kaori's guiding us
