One of the most famous ghetto areas in Osaka, very few places where you can see homeless people in Japan. It used to be dangerous with more Yakuza gangs and drug dealers, but the area has been keeping becoming cleaner and cleaner for these 10 years for the Tokyo Olympics. Now here is also known as a cheap backpacker hostel area for tourists with very few homeless people left, so it's very safe to visit here. Most personable and flexible tour guide. Knew the areas better than any other locals I have talked to, and definitely a fun person to be around. Understood what we wanted and asked us what we preferred.

Nara & Osaka without All the Details
Published on Oct, 2024
I had my doubts about being able to do justice to Nara and Osaka in one day. But my wife and I had only one day free left on our itinerary. But we decided to give it a try. And we got everything done that we wanted. This was our second day with Daiki. The day before we did a great private tour of Kyoto with him. During the Kyoto tour, I began to relax because I had every confidence that we had found the right guide to make Nara & Osaka happen together. I simply described what kind of experience we wanted and left it to him to fulfill the details. We wanted a minimal walking overview that would give us a feel for the country. And thatās exactly what we got.
Fantastic day!
