Overview

With a unique guide, you can stroll around good old Ueno like a local friend and enjoy the izakaya and unique Japanese culture. Your guide, who is familiar with Japanese food culture, will recommend food and beverage options (included in the price) that you would like to try. *The difference from other tours! ・You will be accompanied by one guide per small group. (This prevents problems such as not being able to hear the guide). ・You will be able to enjoy the tour while understanding Japanese food, drinks, manners, and Japanese-style drinking parties. ・ During the tour, interesting explanations related to the Ueno area will be given during the tour. ・All guides are friendly. We have only professional guides for entertainment and dining in Tokyo. We will give you the best and most recommended spots and food for you. If you want to know the real Tokyo, make a reservation!

Itinerary

  • Atre Ueno (Pass By)

    We will meet in front of Starbucks at Atre Ueno (next to the station entrance)

  • Ameyoko Shopping Street

    We'll walk through Ameyoko Shopping Street and go to two izakayas. At the third stop, we'll have some delicious ramen. You can also enjoy souvenir shops, delicious snacks, fresh Japanese fruit, and an arcade.

  • Ueno Station (Pass By)

    The tour will disband in front of Ueno Station. It's almost the same place as the meeting place.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • This tour itinerary includes some locations that are not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Please note that as meals are prepared outside of FujiTour's kitchen, we cannot guarantee allergy-free meals or accommodate dietary restrictions. We may also not be able to provide substitutions at certain stops, but we will do our best to compensate you at various stops along the tour.

Local dining drinking tour in Ueno Japan

My first guide came down with the flu, but they went above and beyond to offer me an alternative.. which was a later time slot. I loved every minute of the atmosphere, trying different foods and drinks. My guides Sakura and Seiya were amazing

Our family had a wonderful evening. Seiya was incredibly friendly, funny, and had a great personality. Having traveled, lived, and studied around the world, his English and communication skills are perfect. The kids quickly warmed up to him and had a lot of fun. 10/10, thank you, Seiya!

Sakura guided us around the local area perfectly! In addition to drinking, we also enjoyed local food, shopping, and playing games. Without her, we would have ended our trip at a mediocre restaurant without ever getting to know the real Ueno. We highly recommend this tour!
