What To Expect

1. Black pillar of Kyu-Ome-kaido We will right in front of the Black pillar (Next to Uniqlo Shinjuku Nishiguchi shop)

2. Omoide Yokocho We'll be visiting a Izakaya in Omoide Yokocho 1 hour

3. Kabukicho District We'll be hop on to a izakaya bar in Kabukicho area. 1 hour

4. Godzilla Head Godzilla head

5. Shinjuku Golden Gai Visit a bar in Golden Gai. Depending on the day and availability we might visit a sake bar instead of going to Golden Gai. 40 minutes

Wanted to experience the bars as they come to live after work hours so joined the bar hopping in Shinjuku on a weeknight. As I'm the only one booked for this tour, it is almost like a guys' night out. Yushin explained a bit about the drinking culture in Japan and the Memory Lane (omoide yokocho). Plenty of food/drink to chose from so it shouldn't be an issue for anyone joining this tour. The last bar was a karaoke bar with a stage (for the brave), which was a surprise as I have been wanting to sing for a while so this was nice. Overall, great experience during this solo trip. Thanks Yushin.

Joey was amazing!!!!! Had an awesome crawl with very cool people. Learned lots and drank/ate my body weight in food. Great time recommend to anyone in Tokyo.

Had a wonderful time exploring the streets of Shinjuku around "Memory Lane". Our tour guide Ai was wonderful. She was sweet and relatable and made us all feel very comfortable. We learned some history about the establishments we ate and drank at. The food and drinks were excellent and we all had a nice buzz by the end if it lol. I highly recommend doing this at least once!

Absolutely great tour of Shinjuku! Tadeshi did a fantastic job showing us around and answered so many questions. He was very friendly and the food and drinks were very good!

What a fun way to conclude our trip! Taka was an excellent guide who took care of us at each stop and was good enough to take photos for us along the way. Our small group was able to stop at bars a larger group couldn't have, and many felt like places we wouldn't have found without Taka. I'd happily recommend this tour to anyone staying in the Tokyo area.
