Ueno Park is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing sites in Japan, and there are about 1,200 cherry trees in this park. Every spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, nearly 2 million people visit the park for hanami, or cherry blossom viewing (a custom in which food and alcohol are enjoyed under blooming cherry trees). In the evening, bonbori (paper lanterns) are lit, and the cherry blossoms look fantastic as they appear in the soft illumination of the paper lanterns. In addition, a zoo, a museum, and an art gallery are located within the park premises, so this location is widely known as bunka-no-mori (means forest of culture).

Our tour was just as stated. Our guide, Weseem was wonderful! He was very kind and attentive to our needs! We were dropped off at each location and picked up when we were finished.

Highly recommend this Full day tour. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Easy just hop on and hop off in a comfortable van which accommodated 9 of us! Our tour guide Abdul was excellent very friendly, knowledgeable he was another highlight of our action packed day. Wish we could have taken Abdul with us for the rest of our travels in Japan. Highly Recommended! Thank you!
