Overview

Discuss with our experiensed guide who knows all about Tokyo. Our guide is "YOUR PERSONAL ASSISTANT" during your stay in Japan ! This is a "FULLY CUSTOMIZED PRIVATE TOUR", either 8 hour full day tour or 4 hour half day tour. You can visit 4 or 5 places on the full-day tour and 2 or 3 places on the half-day tour. We will create "YOUR OWN TOUR" based on your interests and of course we will give you some suggestions. You will experience the best of Tokyo on foot or by private car. See Tokyo highlights, from shrines and museums to the world’s largest fish market - Tsukiji Market, or explore distinct neighborhood shops, and sample Japanese cuisine. Please let us know your phone number or email address where we can always reach you. Please book a tour for the day after your arrival in Japan considering the time difference with your country.

We do not pick up / drop off at outside of Tokyo 23 ward (ex. Maihama, Urayasu, Yokohama etc), cruise terminal, Narita airport. By private vehicle - Additional charge will apply if meeting point located outside of Tokyo. - Cancellations are free of charge until 72 hours before the departure, after which the full amount will be charged. By public transport - Meeting point must be within Tokyo 23 ward. *There are many hotels with similar names, and there are the same hotel chains in various places. Please check the name and address carefully so that the guide can pick you up on time.

What To Expect

1. The Old Tsukiji Market **Here are some recommended places to visit. **You can visit 4 or 5 places on the full-day tour and 2 or 3 places on the half-day tour. **Please let us know your interest in advance ! After talking with our experiensed guide who knows all about Tokyo, please feel free to decide the place to visit and enjoy the wonderful journey!!! ======================================== The most famous Fish Market in the world. You can sample local foods & Sake. 30 minutes

2. Hama Rikyu Gardens A beautiful Japanese garden where you can enjoy Maccha tea at cozy tea house on the pond. 30 minutes

3. Asakusa The most important temple in Tokyo and one the post card photos of the city. 30 minutes

4. Akihabara Famous as a destination for fans of anime, manga, video games, and idol culture. 30 minutes

5. Meiji Jingu Shrine The most important Shrine in Tokyo with 100 years over history. It is located in Harajuku area. 30 minutes

6. Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street You can enjoy local foods & snacks. Also, you can enjoy Sake with local people at the standing bar. 30 minutes

7. Shibuya Crossing A world famous and iconic intersection. You can enjoy taking photo or movie. 30 minutes

8. Ningyocho Karakuri Watchtower There are many long-established craft shops. Why don't you enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere and taste Japanese style pancakes at a candy store that has been around for generations for more than 150 years? 30 minutes

9. Fukagawa Fudou-dō (Naritasan Tokyo branch temple) You can experience fire ritual here. Right next to the Fukagawa Fudodo temple is the Tomioka Hachimangu shrine where you can watch gorgeous portable shrines. 30 minutes

10. Nakano Broadway Who needs Akihabara when there's Nakano Broadway? You can enjoy coffee at unique cafe produced by Takashi Murakami. 30 minutes

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Our tour guide Yuri was amazing. She covered most of the attractions in the day and she helped us before and after the tour finished when we need her help, we recommend this tour if you come first time to Japan.

Fantastic Customizable Tour!

I had a wonderful full-day tour with Roy! He reached out early to get my input on what I would like to see. Since I didn’t know much about Tokyo before my visit, I mostly left it to him, and I’m glad I did. Our day began at the Tsukiji Old Fish Market, then we went to the Asakusa Sensoji temple, Akihabara, Waseda University Murakami Library (at my request), Ginza (to see the Sanno Metsuri festival parade), Meiji Jingu Shrine, and ended at Shibuya scramble crossing. Roy was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and adaptable, altering our itinerary to catch the parade but still making sure we hit all of our planned stops. The entire day was an adventure, but highlight for me was our stop at the Meiji Jingu Shrine — a beautiful and serene place next to Harajuku Station with a 100-year old man-made forest. I learned so much about Tokyo and the history and culture of the city and Japan. I’m very grateful that Roy shared his day with me and joined me for 10 miles of walking around the city!

Amazing Day in Tokyo

Every activity was unique and interesting from Meiji to Yanaka. We spent 8 wonderful hours with our awesome guide Hiroko. She explained so much about history and customs, spoke excellent English, let us walk at our own pace. she had planned a memorable itinerary including shrines, gardens, old Edo, trendy streets full of locals, shopping for souvenirs, Buddhist temples and watching a Festival parade! We saw 3 traditional weddings, had a delicious authentic lunch in a small local restaurant, ate some great Japanese snack food. We all agreed it was the best tour on our 14 day trip to Japan! Our guide and driver were fantastic! Highly recommended!

His methods of taking us through the subway were efficient, and he was extremely pleasant to be with! Atsushi was a wonderful guide and we were able to fit in so much stuff we wanted to see. Great way to see popular sites as well as find spots in the city you’d like to circle back to. Super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!
