You will learn a lot about the Gion area (and maybe even get to remember some of it). Be prepared to do lots of walking and be aware that you'll encounter lots of other travellers on your tour. Our guide Ben was excellent - very knowledgeable and passionate about Kyoto and it's history. Highly recommended.
