Our tour will start in Restauradores, where the Obelisk and the famous Elevador da Gloria are located.

This famous old elevator transports people from the Restauradores to São Pedro de Alcântara.

In this square we can see the D. Maria II Theater and the D. Pedro IV Statue.

This former elevator used to transport people from Rua Áurea to Largo do Carmo where the ruins of the Carmo Church are located.

It was at this place where the 25 April revolution took place.

One of the first Jesuit churches in the world. Here we can see the statues of the Lottery Man and Father António Vieira.

Best way to visit Lisbon

Definitely the best way to visit Lisbon, and many spots that would have not be possible just walking due to many hills. Our guide Pedro was excellent and in the morning he messaged me offering me a pick up and a start time that could better fit us. So he came to the cruise port instead of the Hard Rock Cafe and at a better time than the one offered on Viator. Definitely a must do if you have limited time and want to see a lot. We had the private tour for 2,5 hrs .

This trip was so good, Pedro our guide was full of information and adjusted our tour to accommodate our elderly father/father in law, the trip was good fun, plenty to see and so much history and knowledge from Pedro. We went for the 2.5 hr tour and it went by so quickly. Would highly recommend this trip.
