Immaculate vibes and a MUST-DO in Porto!

Just do it. I booked this tour super last minute (literally day of) and it was probably the best spontaneous decision I’ve made throughout my solo trip in Portugal. Watching the sunset on the river was just so serene and peaceful - such a vast difference from the tourist spots on land (you can see the crowds from the boat). I really enjoyed the comfortable/relaxing atmosphere that Alberto and Pedro sought out to make throughout the ride and especially loved how the tour was informational but not so in your face so that you really had the time and space to just enjoy the serenity and vibes of the river and sunset. What an amazing, intimate (small group), and personable experience with a considerate and attentive guide. Thank you Alberto and Pedro for making my evening so so so special!!! If I come back to Porto, I will definitely be signing up again!

Beautiful cruise and sunset

Alberto and his mate took us on a super lovely cruise of the bridges and the river, and finished with a fabulous sunset. He made several loops around the sunset to ensure everybody had an opportunity to take lots of fabulous pictures. His knowledge of Porto and its history was excellent and we learned a lot. His boat was super comfortable with lots of blankets to snuggle in to. He was very attentive always striving to make sure we were comfortable!

Unforgettable Yacht Experience with OPO Boat Tours! Our recent yacht tour with OPO Boat Tours, hosted by Alberto – the owner – was an absolute dream! The moment we stepped aboard, we were treated to an experience of pure luxury and elegance for me and my husband. We were a small group of 6 (maximum capacity is 8) on the Sunset tour (5:30-7:30 PM). The yacht itself was gorgeous, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We were served several drinks in elegant glass glasses (white wine, port) and enjoyed delicious local treats on beautifully crafted wooden platters, which added a refined touch to the whole experience. Alberto’s hospitality was exceptional, and his passion for Porto was clear as he shared stories about the city’s history and hidden gems. The captain, who expertly navigated the Douro River, ensured that we saw the very best views of Porto’s iconic bridges and stunning riverside landmarks up to Foz where we could witness the opening of the river into the Atlantic Ocean. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and discovery, all while enjoying the beauty of the city from a unique perspective. The personalized attention, from the intimate service to the warm welcome from both Alberto and the captain, made it feel like we were on a private, tailor-made adventure. We bought two bottles of the wine and port wine that we tasted on board. Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape or a memorable way to explore Porto, I highly recommend OPO Boat Tours for a truly unforgettable, high-class experience!
