Overview

Have a unique and exclusive experience, enjoy the Douro River ... calmly ... on a 27-foot yacht, with the purpose of making known the regional Portuguese flavors and providing you with unforgettable moments on board the "SMILE" Yacht. Private experience, day or night, designed for couples, families or groups of up to six people, done in a close, relaxed and mainly way, away from any type of confusion and agglomerations. Navigation, made by two experienced skiers, passionate and great connoisseurs of this river, always done in a calm way, with short breaks, so that our guests can enjoy this beautiful perspective of the cities and naturally take the necessary photos. Route with more than 20km of navigation between Marina do Freixo and the Atlantic Ocean.

    After boarding at Marina do Freixo, where we will offer you a welcome drink of your choice (Sparkling Brut, Porto) we will sail towards the sea, passing under this bridge.

  • Ponte D. Maria Pia (Pass By)

    Passage under the Infante D. Henrique Bridge.

  • Ponte Infante Dom Henrique (Pass By)

    Passage under the Infante D. Henrique Bridge.

  • Luis I Bridge (Pass By)

    Small stop so that our guests can take the pictures that they poop.

  • Cais da Ribeira (Pass By)

    Pause navigation so that you can enjoy the Porto stream and the historic cellars of Gaia.

  • Ponte da Arrabida (Pass By)

    Passage under the Arrábida Bridge.

  • Molhe e Farolim de Felgueiras (Pass By)

    Continuing towards the Atlantic, we will enjoy the Cabedelo Natural Reserve, the romantic Old Foz and the magnificent view of Barra do Douro topped by its emblematic lighthouse, this scenario is even more stunning at sunset, a moment that is especially recommended by us. .

We had a great time on our boat ride yesterday. Friendly, helpful, and responsive to our request. We had two kids with us and sent their sizes ahead to make sure they had appropriate child life vests on board. Both were waiting for us when we arrived. The wine and snacks kept coming and the views were fantastic. If you have a travel group of 4-6, this is definitely worth it.

December on the Douro!

Kicked off December with a boat along the Douro. A great way to see the wonderful cities of Porto and Gaia. We learnt about the six bridges connecting the cities, the history of many of the buildings along the river bank. Antonio shared stories of his family, his life in Portugal and we got to try some wonderful food, green wine and Port that he sources via his family and friends. Would highly recommend!

Incredible experience and the guides were sensational! Snacks were authentic and delicious and wine was homemade Portuguese authentic wine, just like my grandad used to have! Loved that my little boy was also looked after so well
