Overview
This tour is the perfect combination of the urban, cultural and historical's richness of Porto, and the opportunity to relax along the river all the way until Douro meets the ocean. You will have the opportunity to explore the gem that is Afurada Fishing Village, with its cobblestoned streets and tiled houses and to pop into the beach at Lavadores, to take a break before returning to city life. It is truly the best of both worlds!

Luis I Bridge (Pass By)
The bridge on Luis 1st bridge was built between 1881 and 1886 by the engineer Théophile Seyrigby Gustave Eiffel and Maria Pia Bridge, built by Gustave Eiffel.
Palacio da Bolsa (Pass By)
You will admire the “Palacio da Bolsa”. Construction began October 6, 1842, Tuscan and neoclassical architecture of the eighteenth century, as well as English and Arabic influences. Inside the Arab living parallelogram is beautiful.
Igreja e Museu de Sao Francisco do Porto (Pass By)
The Church of São Francisco, located in Porto's historic center, is one of the city's most remarkable landmarks. Built in the 14th century, it features Gothic architecture and a stunning Baroque interior covered in gold leaf. The church also houses catacombs and a museum, making it an important cultural site to visit.
Jardins do Palacio de Cristal
Palácio de Cristal, located in Porto, is surrounded by beautiful gardens offering stunning views of the Douro River. Cais De Gaia (Pass By)
Cais de Gaia, located on the southern bank of the Douro River in Vila Nova de Gaia, offers stunning views of Porto’s historic Ribeira district. Famous for its wine cellars, where the world-renowned Port wine is aged, it’s a popular destination for wine tasting and riverside dining. The lively promenade is perfect for strolling, with its picturesque scenery and vibrant atmosphere.
Ponte da Arrabida (Pass By)
You will go under Ponte da Arrábida, a concrete bridge measuring 615 meters long and 27 meters wide which connects the South to the North of Portugal and which represented a significant development for the whole country. This project was conducted by the engineer Edgar Cardoso and inaugurated on 22 June 1963.
Igreja Paroquial de S. Pedro da Afurada
Explore typical fishermen village São Pedro da Afurada known for its traditions and among others for its festival in honor of São Pedro (St. Peter), patron saint of fishermen in the end of June. Stroll the cobblestone-lined streets with typical houses tiled with azulejos, you might enjoy eating the catch of the day and notably grilled sardines served with « Broa de Avintes» under the watchful eye of this fishing community.
