Overview

A Summer Night Campfire is a small-group tour for those, who wish to enjoy watching the never-ending sunset of the arctic summer nights in a cosy atmosphere. The tour takes you to the beautiful islands on the west side of Tromsø with fjords, mountains and the Norwegian sea. During the evening you'll experience the midnight sun by sitting in front of a campfire having warm home-made seasonal vegetable stew.

    This tour gives you a chance to forget the rush and get fully into a holiday mode and relax. You'll be picked up from the city centre, from where we'll head to the coast, west side of Tromsø. The group size is maximum 8 people, which guarantees an intimate and cosy experience for everyone. We'll drive to a nice location on the islands in Tromsø area and set up a camp on a beach. The guide will prepare you a warm meal on a bonfire while you can chill out and enjoy the Arctic. All this while having the amazing nature and the beautiful shades of summer light around us. This is an experience of a lifetime.

The perfect end to an incredible trip!

This tour ended up being the highlight of our incredible time in Tromsø. Ellie and Jenna were just fabulous in making sure all the guests were comfortable. I booked this tour as soon as I had planned my holiday and knew the one I didn't want to miss was a chance to enjoy an incredible sunset, and I'm so glad I booked with the Wandering Owl. They made the whole trip wonderfully memorable, from the views to the food to the conversation and the drive - everything was impeccable, with Ellie and Jenna as the perfect hosts. Thank you for everything, including the excellent photos you guys took!

Ellie was a FABULOUS tour guide! We loved being able to follow some reindeer, watching a group of dolphins frolic in the bay, and enjoy some great food and conversation. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Excellent tour and way to see the fjords near Tromso! We even saw reindeer on the side of the road. Our guide Afghani was terrific. We had a beautiful drive through the fjords to a gorgeous beach. The food was delicious. It was a fantastic experience.
