Bad forecast, but great result!

The forecast looked bad due to overcast conditions, but Harry and Rafael were successful in finding the northern lights. It was a great show!!! Harry and Rafael were also extremely knowledgeable about the science behind this phenomenon, and we're extremely helpful with recommendations towards photographing the northern lights. Money will spent!

An amazing trip

I'm so happy with the trip. Our guide Harry really made what he could so we could see the aurora and the result was stunning. I also felt very safe although the weather seemed challenging for driving (thanks to our driver Dominik :)). We had a chance to get familiar with the science behind the aurora and some stories about ancient beliefs. I definitely recommend this experience!

Perfect spot - Max knows what he is doing

Although it was completely cloudy in Tromso and we had little hope to see anything, Max (guide) and Dom (driver) found a crystal clear spot behind the finnish border. Max was very friendly and competent! He knew what he was talking about. After enjoying a crazy amount of stars, a cosy campfire, and authetic food the aurora started to appear. Even if it was hazy in between, Max always made the right decisions and we were rewarded with an incredible show! He made amazing pictures of us and the aurora and we will always cherish this night :) Last but not least, a lot of respect for Dom to drive the bus so safely and confidently during that arctic weather.

Amazing northern light

Really enjoyed our experience, very fortunate to see the northern lights out as amazing as they were but this was in part thanks to the amazing leadership of Hermann & Wojtek! Would recommend to anyone wishing to see the lights.

After a very poor tour in 2024 with a tour company who overbooked and just picked up a driver who just drove us round for 5 hours not able to track the lights, I put lots of research into choosing the next tour company so that we stood a chance of seeing the northern lights. I couldn’t have picked better - Northern Horizon were brilliant with excellent liaison and service. Our tour guide Bert was incredible, his knowledge, passion and enthusiasm to give us all the very best night which was so much appreciated. He found the most fantastic places to view the Auora, especially on frozen lake to enjoy a dinner sat round the most perfect fire with hot chocolate and sausages cooked on an open fire whilst he pointed out constellations and gave us so much of his love and knowledge for Norway and the northern lights Bert is an exceptionally talented tour guide, photographer and genuinely nice person. Bert took the most beautiful pictures to help us remember this trip for the rest of our lives I can’t recommend Northern Horizon enough You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our trip one of a lifetime
