Amazing trip, we saw a pod of Orcas and watched them hunt. We also saw a Humback whale too. Guides were informative and friendly.

Excellent trip,very informative, great to see a number of Orcas,Two Humpback Whales,Sea lions and even a Bold Eagle. Would highly recommend this trip.

This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Vancouver. From the checkin to departure Prince of Whales gets it right. Our Captain Jonathan explained the business ethos which centres arounds passenger experience and education while supporting students and trainees in the industry. The continuous development to ensure that passengers still have the opportunity to be in the moment with the wildlife in the Vancouver area. So knowing professional photographers were on board and I would be emailed photos of any wildlife we encountered I put my phone in my bag and focused on the experience. We were rewarded with two whale sightings Initially two likely to be resting which we followed for about an hour. We sped off to a second area where we were surrounded by 5-6 whales in what the naturalists described as exceptional display from these usually solitary animals. We followed two who were identified as Zigzag and Spok who continuously treated us to dives that displayed their tails. It was truly magical. Next we visited a colony of sea lions which on any other trip would have been a highlight. We saw the bulls displaying and claiming the best spots in the sun. Others were jumping in and out of the water. The experience was truly enhanced by the commentary from the experts who answered our questions in detail and the fantastic photos that were texted and emailed that evening. Thank you Price of Whales for exceeding our expectations on a much anticipated trip.

It was an amazing trip. The staff were beyond fantastic and super knowledgeable. One of the best things was all the staff are trained in wildlife photography so you can sit back and enjoy the trip rather than fumbling with your phone. It really allows you to enjoy the trip and the beautiful scenery. We only saw two Orcas but it was still a lot of fun. My only suggestion would be to wait until later in June when more of the whales are back. This was a bit early. I was also very impressed that they said if you come back join us again or try one of the other offerings. I was amazed they promoted their competition. Very impressive. Also if going in June being gloves, a hat and dress in layers if you want the full outdoor experience. We chose to stay outside the whole trip. It was serene and rejuvenating
