But wait, there's more! We'll also treat your taste buds to delicious cheese tastings at a nearby farm (Fri- Sun) and, when possible, authentic balsamic tastings. Leisurely 6-hour tour you'll have ample time to savour every moment. Plus, we've got your lunch covered! Simply let us know in advance if you prefer vegan, veggie or an "I love it all" picnic option. Departing from downtown Victoria Hotels, this small group tour guarantees a relaxed, intimate experience. Grab your wine-loving friends and let's go!

We depart our first location at 9:45am. The Hotel Grand Pacific. Due to new bike lanes we have limited access to many hotels and traffic issues. We have chosen several different areas to pick up, covering 4 quadrants of downtown. * Hotel Grand Pacific is our first departure point * Clipper Ferry Terminal parking area * Royal BC Museum (out front of Museum entrance, on Belleville street, please be on the sidewalk area) * Double Tree Hilton or Marriott (next door to each other first reservation will meet at that hotel we will advise you prior if you pick this option) No luggage or storage in our vehicles. (walkers or wheelchairs for example we have zero storage) Anything you bring must fit on your lap or at your feet. Local groups of 6 please call our office for a flexible pickup location.

What To Expect

1. Vancouver Island This tour offers sightseeing, history and points of interest along the route to wine country. Stunning views as we climb the Malahat Mountain range. Passing through old growth forest and stopping at the summit for an amazing picturesque view of the Saanich Inlet, Gulf Island and San Juan Islands (Salish Sea) Our destination is the Cowichan Valley translated by local First Nations this ares is called "the warm land". This tour offers amazing views as we climb the Malahat Mountain range. Time for a few pictures as your driver/guide shares the history along route while referring to many points of interest along the way. This is a fast paced day with plans to enjoy tastings at 3 wineries, a picnic lunch at one, time to explore and shop in Cowichan Bay and stop for that perfect picture along the way. Let's go! 40 minutes

Fun day exploring outside of Victoria proper. Colleen our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable. We went to three wine tastings, at three wineries and had a nice picnic lunch at one. Colleen also took us to two funky places….one to taste cheese and another to sample berry hand pies. We learned about the history of Vancouver Island, the native peoples. Saw beautiful scenery plus donkeys, turkeys and what a fun day!baby owls.! Highly recommend!

Colleen and the tour locations were GREAT. Would highly recommend !!!

Colleen made the day so special. Her knowledge of the land’s geography and history helped make this a unique experience. Marilyn at Venturi Schulze was delightful, and their farm has created the most flavorful wines and balsamic we’ve ever tasted! We loved the quick visits to Cowichan Station Creamery, the lunch and wine tasting, and the delicious tarts and recipes at South Island Saskatoon Pies! Thanks for a wonderful day, Colleen.

This was an amazing trip and worth every penny. Our tour guide talked to us the whole time and told us such interesting things. From pulling over for a view, to 2 craft wineries and a large winery, this was a blast. The wine makers were so fun to listen to and winery extras like balsamic vinegar were fun. The cheese was to die for and even included a qr code where you could meet the cows that contributed. Lunch was fantastic and every venue was a blast. If I go back to the area, I would take the tour again and I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area.
