Frasers Hill? Expect disappointment.
Less than 2 hours spent with the birding guide, Durai. Should have been at least 4. He spent more time calling birds with his one call and visiting feeding sites instead of seeking what was present. We saw and identified more birds than he did! His constant bird calling was an irritant and masked what birds were around. He moved ahead of us at all times and we seemed like an inconvenience. The “Allen’s Water” was nothing other than a large pond in Frasers Hill which we weren’t shown anyway. We were then sent with the taxi driver to a “waterfall” some 9km away. That was a joke, a trickle of water. The transport to and from KL was in a local taxi, and if you like a game of driver dare, then you’ll have fun with that. I think Frasers Hill could be an amazing birding hotspot, it is, currently, reminiscent of a run down ghost town and for the extortionate money I spent on this trip, it was a huge disappointment.
