▼The Most Authentic Samurai Training Activity in Kyoto, Japan▼ You will wear the proper training gear and hold real katana swords to train as the samurai did at a local dojo where 30+ students train regularly. Handling a katana correctly and cutting through objects will change your life. After participating in the training, if you wish to learn more, you can join our regular training or enroll in our online lessons. *Starting from November 2024, there may be occasions when interpreters/instructors other than Shogo will be responsible for the activities. Memorable experience of authentic Samurai training.

We cannot recommend this training highly enough. My 13 year old son and I attended the authentic samurai training with Yushin Sensei, supported by Osayo, and Shogo. (Special thank you to Shogo for the most wonderful, well timed and skilful interpreting of instructions and moves throughout.) Yushin Sensei was patient and encouraging throughout the learning practise, and also gave us an impressive demonstration of his skills perfected over many years. The experience inclusions are as stated. We will remember this training for many many years to come- a true highlight of our Japan trip. Thank you!

I loved the class. It is conducted very professionally. The whole staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. If you want an introduction to Samurai history and to the basic movements of this discipline you should definitely go. I would rate this training a 10. thak you so much.

It was a lot of fun. The staff was incredibly friendly, fluent in English and were super careful to make sure we didn't hurt ourselves while handling the sword.
