The Black Beach is a must when doing the Road to Hana Tour in Maui, Hawaii. This was a lifetime bucket list trip for me. A must do when in Maui.

Recommended - Only Takes A Half Day

We've done the Road to Hana, twice on this one with Oscar. He was competent, caring, and extremely congenial! Instead of requiring an entire day of vacation like most of these trips, it only takes 6.5 hours, leaving plenty of time for other activities. Oscar is a very experienced, safe driver, which is important in this treacherous trail.

Everything I had hoped for

I wanted this tour above others because of the time allotted at the Black Sands Beach. I am SO GLAD I chose this tour!!!! It was everything I wanted! I LOVED the extra time at the beach! The tour guide, Oscar, was kind and knowledgeable. His driving skills were very calm. I was relaxed and felt safe the whole time! The sights were amazing!!! And the length of the tour was perfect! Highly recommend!!!

On the road not to hana

Our driver Oscar was very friendly and told alot about the island. we saw lots of water falls and vegetation along the way to the black sand beach. with small stops along the way. not everyone liked the banana bread. but I did it was still warm. At the end we saw some sea turtles. It was a great day.

Oscar was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Made the ride fun and interactive. Make sure you bring a towel for the beach. This was a good tour. Time was great.
