Relaxing day trip in Aswan

Nice relaxing day in Aswan. Both the Felucca ride and motor boat ride were truly memorable and the Nubian Village is a must-see in Aswan. Mohamed was very professional and knowledgeable, sharing with us some of the local history. He even helped me buy an electrical AC/DC adapter at a local store at local prices (not foreigner prices). We asked to be dropped off at a restaurant in town and he helped us catch a local cab back to the hotel. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Perfect Short Trip in Aswan

Perfect short trip from any Aswan hotel to Nubian village. The best part of the tour is not really visiting Nubian Village but the sailing on their traditional Felucca. I’ll probably hire a Felucca and just chill for the whole day. Absolutely recommended.

Great Tour and a lovely Day!!!

We had an amazing Day and the time is definitely well spent for this tour! The Felucca was a great experience and very relaxing. We then took the motorboat to the Nubian village. On the way we saw some nice wildlife and sights. The Nubian village itself is so beautiful, definitely to recommend! Also we were so lucky to have Omar as our tour guide! He was just fantastic! Really nice, high knowledgable and just great in explaining everything! So make sure to ask for Omar when booking the tour!

Lovely sail and visit to Namibian village

This was our favorite tour in Egypt. Our guide, Omar was very kind and welcoming. He brought us on a beautiful sail on the nile, explaining all of the local landmarks on the shores. He offered us tea with fresh mint and even mangoes fresh from his family’s farm. He walked us through a lovely Namibian village where we went to a local home for tea as well as a spice shop. The cherry on top was being able to hold a crocodile.

Omar is a fantastic guide!! He has a great sense of humor and he has a lot of knowledge and love to share about the beautiful Nubian people. He shares it in a way that is easy to remember and paints a more comprehensive picture of their culture spanning many millennia. There wasn’t much wind on our morning to propel the Felucca but it was so relaxing to be on the Nile in that kind of boat before switching to a motor boat to head to the Nubian village. We loved the village and had an amazing shopping experience for herbs and spices!! We highly recommend this! Even on a 117 degree day! Be sure to top it off with a visit to the Nubian museum!
