This was an amazing tour. José was extremely knowledgeable about the area and so kind and thoughtful. We learned about the history and saw many awesome vistas. He brought us to an awesome little restaurant/bakery for lunch (not included). The tour company was Portugal Unknown, and I highly recommend this tour. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was.

We absolutely LOVED this tour! Our guide Joao picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon and gave us an incredible, personal tour of the Palace at Sintra and Regaleira. He was so kind, friendly and patient. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of these sites, which as a history lover I greatly appreciated! You cannot go wrong booking this tour with Joao....it will be an unforgettable day!

Unforgettable Day in Sintra, Thanks to Goncalo….our incredible tour guide!!! We had the most amazing day in Sintra, and it was all thanks to “G” From the moment we met, it was clear that he was passionate about making our experience truly special. His knowledge of the history, architecture, and hidden gems of Sintra was impressive, but it was his warmth and genuine care that really set the day apart. Not only did he show us the famous sights like Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, Cabo de Roca, and Quinta da Regaleira, he also shared personal stories and local insights that made the whole experience come to life. He took the time to customize the tour based on our interests and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way! We enjoyed a FABULOUS lunch with him as well….usually the guides just take you to a restaurant for you to enjoy but we wanted him to join us! His sense of humor, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel like we were traveling with a friend, not just a guide. It’s rare to meet someone who goes above and beyond like this, and we will always remember our day in Sintra because of Goncalo! We had a fabulous experience with this team who went above and beyond for our half day private tour in Sintra! Even when Bruno had a vehicle issue before our tour he had notified us, Bruno had José and João ready to complete our tour! They even figured out the parking for our rental car in Sintra. They were fantastic and knowledgeable and even customized our tour at Regalia in the fly. Highly highly recommend!!!

Paulo was a star and made our trip to Sintra, one we will never forget. He made sure to listen to our needs with care and explained everything so clearly.
