Overview

Join on a private half-day jeep tour and discover the stunning landscapes of the east or west side of the island. East Tour: Head to the majestic Pico do Areeiro for magnificent views at an altitude of 1818 mts. Visit the Nun’s Valley (Curral das Freiras), experience the panoramic views of Pico do Facho and explore the historical monument of Cristo Rei, inaugurated in 1927. Gil is the best jeep tour guide

We are 5 adults with 1 handicapped. Our guide’s name Gil was so accommodating and handled our group with a lot of care getting in and out of the jeep. Always making sure everyone is enjoying the tour. We did 2 half day tours and really enjoyed Gil’s knowledge and outgoing personality. We made plenty of stops and had a great off roading experience! I highly recommend this tour.

Tour of a lifetime in less than five hours!

What an incredible half day trip!! Our driver, Gil, was amazing!! He took us to less touristy areas, showed us the beauty of Madeira, and even told us about the flora and found wild fruits for us to sample. The photos and video I was able to capture is breathtaking. I cannot put a price on this fantastic experience!!

This was the most incredible day of our trip. Diogo C was a fun, friendly and enthusiastic guide. He knew so many amazing local places off the beaten path that we would never have seen if we weren’t with him. He made sure we were safe, comfortable and having fun every second of the four. We saw so much of the island and just had the best time. We hope to do another tour with true spirit and Diogo while we are in town. Our adult kids said this was their favorite day of our trip. We did a private half day and it was worth every penny. Just book it- you will have amazing memories!
