This small-group tour was a wonderful way to see Porto highlights. The maximum number of people on the tour is apparently 18, but we had six in our group on our tour date. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice, but he didn't really provide more information about Porto beyond the walking portion of the tour. The boat cruise on the river was lovely, but did not include any narration from the tour guide or the boat captain/staff about what we were seeing. The best part was the short helicopter ride that went along the Duoro River, providing excellent views of the city, bridges and river. Note that while the description says that the entire experience is five hours, the walking tour was about 2.5 hours with a coffee break; the boat cruise was about 45 mins; and there is a 20-25 minute walk to the helicopter site (also along the river). The helicopter ride is just a few minutes, so most of the time in the helicopter terminal is spent waiting.
Tip 1: for the boat cruise, bring headphones and download the app for the narration (there should be signs at the entrance to the boat cruise); otherwise, you will not hear get any information at all about the bridges, river or the surroundings.
Tip 2: for the helicopter ride, try to snag the front seat. Each helicopter ride takes three passengers, in addition to the pilot. The front passenger seat provides the best views.
