Overview

Delight yourself on this full-day trip with a guide from the city of Porto, including a group of up to 8 people, in a Mercedes van with air-conditioning and meet the Douro Valley, the main wine region of Portugal. Surprise yourself with a visit to a family-owned, more than a century old winery and taste its olive oil and premium Porto and DOC wines, produced in a traditional way. Be surprised by the magnificent viewpoints and don’t miss the opportunity to take great photos. Enjoy a fabulous lunch at a family farm with homemade food on the fire. Take the opportunity to taste the wines that the farm still produces DOC, Porto, Moscatel and Porto Vintage. Awesome Adventure

Ricardo was phenomenal and in each stop we were met by wonderful and gracious hosts. The boat trip was excellent and the two wineries exceptional. Highly recommended!!!

One of the top days of our lives!

Tour operators responded quickly when I had a question about pick up. The day was very special and memorable. Luis was an incredible guide, weaving history with modern life in Portugal. His driving in the comfortable Mercedes van was perfect and made for relaxing time on the road. The boat trip was spectacularly beautiful as well as informative. The food and wine throughout the day was outstanding. No pressure to buy stuff, although I did pick up a couple of bottles of a port wine I especially enjoyed at a nice price. Truly wonderful food, wine, scenery, and conversation. Definitely glad I splurged on a bit more expensive option than some of the others I considered.

Douro Valley wine tour

Went to the Douro valley with our excellent, knowledgable and friendly tour guide David. Cruised the Douro river with entertaining duo Pascal and Gil, while learning about the region and enjoying some Port and local snacks. Had a delicious lunch and wine tasting at Casa Negrilhos with our host Antonio and his staff. Then went on to Quinta de Beijo where we tasted some more wonderful wines and ports from the Douro valley while learning about wine making from our wonderful host Pedro. Highly recommend this tour!

The highlight here is our tour guide Luis. He was absolutely amazing! Knowledgable, funny, so easy to spend the day with. Very accommodating. I have to say this is one of the best trips I have booked. The intimate lunch at the farm was amazing and the food and wine was delicious !
