My wife and I were lucky and ended up with a private tour with Ayaka. Because our tour was on a Sunday, the sushi location she usually goes to wasn't open yet. Nevertheless, we started out with the seafood topped okonomiyaki. While we were waiting for it, she went over Japanese table manners and base flavors. Also sampled baby octopus, grilled squid, grilled scallops, Kobe beef, sashimi, and dessert. Saw bonito flakes, fugu/pufferfish (wasn't brave enough to try) as well. Finished up in the kitchen market area - knives, cookware, uniforms galore! Very informative, memorable, and tasty! We had such a great experience that time passed so quickly - sad that it was over. Arigato to Arigato Food Tours and to Ayaka.
