  • Osaka Castle

    You can overlook the city of Osaka from Osaka Castle. Also, inside Osaka Castle, there is an exhibition about Osaka Castle and the Sengoku period. Take a photo with the majesty of Osaka Castle in the background.

    We will visit the most colorful downtown area in Osaka, which symbolizes Osaka, the city of food. Take a picture with the landmark Glico signboard.

  • Kuromon Market

    Enjoy the atmosphere of a lively market at a public market that has continued since the Edo period. You can also enjoy street food.

  • Tsutenkaku

    From the observatory of Tsutenkaku, you can see the city of Osaka. Around Tsutenkaku, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the town unique to Shinsekai, and take a commemorative photo with Tsutenkaku and the cityscape in the background.

Taka is very knowledgeable about the history of Japan, specifically the details of castle and Shintle shrine. It is a good tour for first time visitor to Osaka.

The tour was wonderful with a small group and Taka San was very kind to arrange the walk with easy short cuts and good recommendations on one day pass for many benefits. He offered many assistance taking family photos!

The day walking with Taka and our group was wonderful, exactly as advertised and a great way to get a good overview of the city and the cultures. Very clear communication on meeting place and time, and small group as advertised. Be prepared to cover 15000 steps easily on this tour, but nothing at a super fast pace. If you have trouble with inclines or steps, this may be a challenge on certain parts of the tour, but Taka was wonderful in finding lifts and shortcuts where possible on the day. Lunch was fantastic, and able to be catered for GF diet restrictions, and there was no pressure to have to pay the extra admission for the places we visited if you didn't want to (eg, Osaka Castle I was able to enjoy the gardens and the outside views without having to pay extra to see the inside of the building). A number of interesting places were pointed out to us on our walk, which meant we could come back at a later time if that was of interest. Taka was also very quick to ask if things were or were not of interest to our group, to make sure our tour kept on time - the long lines at one place were passed up for another stop which was better use of our time and interest. Great tour, a good place to start an Osaka adventure.
