Overview

One hour original and unique training which cannot be found other place. You could learn some ninja techniques by hands-on training in English. Ninja training start with courtesy of the dojo and ninja meditation 'Kuji-kiri'. You could learn breath control of ninja like Yoga. Also basic walking of Japanese martial arts and Ninja walking.

Lovely experience with the ninja master, you get to wear the ninja outfit and learn the life as a ninja! Trying the weapons, get to throw darts and shuriken. The room is an authentic Japanese style, with ninja artifacts. The ninja master (sorry, I forget her name) is wonderful, polite, and patient. Would recommend!

If you want to do something different in Kyoto then this is it. Very nice and informative. We learned something new and time flows. A rope, bbq sticks, sword, ninja’star’, escape,… you see it all. Very recommend.

Highlight of my trip!

Traveling solo, I randomly stumbled upon the "Ninja Experience" and it was unexpectedly the highlight of my trip. As a beginner I was dressed in ninja aparrel and spent the next hour going through the various aspects, arts, and techniques of a ninja; everything from mental preparation to understanding their tools/equipment to specific body movements and finally application of what I had learned. My teacher, Chihiro, was patient, funny, and exceeding talented and made it all look so easy - it's NOT! All the more reason to go back for another lesson or practice on my own. This truly was amazing and I would be remissed if I did not HIGHLY RECOMMEND this adventure to everyone!
