    Ethereal bamboo forests, hidden temples and perfectly preserved Saga-Toriimoto Street. IMPORTANT: As this is a private and personalised experience, the places you visit may differ from those listed and these will be chosen by your host based on your interests and preferences

  • Bamboo Forest Street (Pass By)

    The bamboo forest might be the main reason to visit Arashiyama, but with a host, you can see (and do) so much more. Explore Tenryū-ji Temple and its garden that stands unchanged from centuries ago, and exit into the seemingly endless, emerald-glowing Bamboo Grove, winding dreamily uphill.   • Kinkakuji Temple (Pass By)

    Also known as the Golden Pavilion, it’s one of the most iconic and famous places in Japan.
