Enjoy a half-day afternoon walking tour in āHarajukuā, a spot popular not only in Japan, but also to young people from all over the world. A tour guide who is very familiar with the Harajuku area will be showing you around the best ākawaiiā (cute) spots that most tourists donāt know about.
The meeting point of this tour. This Tourist Information Center is an information center operated by HIS. Guided tours, hotels and optional tours bookings are all available at this information center. You can leave your luggage while your're shopping and you withdraw your money from ATM here.

DAISO Harajuku Store
The first location will be the youthās holy land āTakeshita-doriā. This street is filled with shops selling all kinds of bright and interesting stuff. Many little side streets branch off it; you never know what youāll find down those! Once we enter Takeshita Street we will visit āDaiso Harajukuā, which is a 100-yen shop that has stores all around the world. However, Harajukuās store is a wonderful spot for purchasing souvenirs for friends and family. The store has so many small and cute items which are only available in Japan.

Eriko was Truly Fantastic!

Picture the scene ... a couple in their 50s with their teenage niece in tow wanting to spend several hours in the throbbing heart of Harajuku ...
Quite a daunting prospect but that's where the Half-day Kawaii Tour and Eriko (our guide) enter the scene.
It was very clear from the first few minutes that Eriko and our niece had a fantastic bond and that Eriko knew exactly where to go, what to see, and what to do.
We use private guides a lot but it is rare for one to exceed our expectations by so much. Virtually everything she suggested was an instant success with our niece and she adapted the program as went went along to focus on things that were of most interest ... including assistance in the dressing up photo booth and helping to translate all the instructions to get the classic strip of photos produced.
We purposely chose a Sunday afternoon visit to get the full Harajuku effect ... which meant it was completely mobbed with teenagers and tourists. Eriko was able to weave our way thru' the crowds, find the specialist shops, and also the hidden alleyways to enhance the experience.
We honestly don't know what could have been done to make the afternoon more successful. Eriko - thank you for care and attention throughout our time with you!
If it was possible to give a 6 star review we would!!!
A Must tour for the real Harajuku

Kaori was amazing and very flexible with us ensuring our tour was very customizable and fit our interests. We wanted to see the real Harajuku and experience like a local with art galleries and other treasures. She delivered and still also took us to places our kids would love tooā¦ if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Kaori was absolutely amazing. We wanted to do many things differently and really āseeā Harajuku beyond all the tourist spots. She was very flexible and change the itinerary to meet our needs. Not only did she show us around to very cool spots like the Latte Art, Owl Restaurant, B-Label and moreā¦ she also showed us around the real Harajuku culture and art galleries and clothing scene. If I could give this tour more stars I would.

We had the best day with Yumi! She was a great tour guide with lots of personal tips on snacks and shopping and taking pics. It was also my bday and such a nice treat. Definitely recommend and miss her already. We were a group of 4 w teens and loved it. Thank you Yumi!ā¤ļø
Family experience in Harajuku

Harajuku has amazing sights that must be experienced! We went with Ken on a slightly rainy day in summer and it was enjoyable seeing the shops and getting expert advice on where to go and what to see. We had lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant, and it was delicious! The shrine was also beautiful, and the owl cafe was definitely a highlight, especially for our 11 year old daughter!
