Pickup Details

We provide pick-up services from any hotel or location within Tokyo's 23 wards. However, please be aware that pick-ups or drop-offs outside of these wards will incur additional charges and not all locations are available so please contact in advance. The tour typically lasts between 7 to 9 hours. The time spent at each sight might be shorter than indicated, as Viator doesn't account for the travel time between destinations. We generally recommend the following durations for each site: - Sensoji Temple: 1 hour - Tokyo Skytree: 1 hour - Tsukiji Fish Outer Market: 1 hour - Meiji Shrine: 40 minutes - Harajuku Takeshita Street: 40 minutes - Shibuya Crossing: 30 minutes It is advisable to purchase Tokyo Skytree tickets ahead of time since they may not be available on the day of your visit. We suggest securing a ticket for about 1.5 hours after the tour start time. If desired, you can substitute Tokyo Skytree with another attraction such as Tokyo Tower.

What To Expect

1. Senso-ji Temple Tokyo`s oldest and most prominent temple. The magestic Senso-Ji Buddhist Temple is almost 1400 years old and is a symbol of Asakusa and the entire city of Tokyo. 1 hour 5 minutes

2. Tokyo Skytree Tokyo Skytree is the world`s tallest tower at 634m and the second tallest structure in the world standing head and shoulders above everything else in the city for a spectacular view. 1 hour 20 minutes

3. Tsukiji Fish Market Tsukiji Outer Market has amazing atmosphere and is one of if not the best fish markets in the world with a wide array of street food stalls and amazing restaurants serving both raw and cooked fish. Lunch should be enjoyed here but is not included. 1 hour 30 minutes

4. The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle Ruin) The Imperial Palace East Gardens are part of the inner Palace area. They are the former site of Edo Castle`s innermost circles of defence. 40 minutes

5. Meiji Jingu Shrine Meiji Shrine is Tokyo's most prominent Shrine and dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken completed in 1920. Emperor Meiji was the first Emperor of modern Japan. Traditional Shinto weddings can often be seen taking place here and the entrance is very beautiful and peaceful. 1 hour 20 minutes

6. Shibuya Crossing The busiest intersection in the world and the landmark of Tokyo city. 50 minutes

7. Takeshita Street Buzzing Harajuku is renowned for colorful street art and youth fashion, with quirky vintage clothing stores and cosplay shops along Takeshita Street. 1 hour 5 minutes

We saw the best of Tokyo in 10 hours and had the most amazing day with our driver/guide Richard. He knew the ins and outs of where to go, hidden spots and little gems we may have missed on our own.
