Overview

One of our private chauffeurs will pick you up in the early morning from your accommodation in Lyon. He'll take you to the center of Annecy, where a heritage guide awaits you. You'll retrace the city's history as you discover its most picturesque and emblematic sites, and wander between the canals that have earned it its nickname of the Little Venice of the Alps. At the end of the tour, your guide will accompany you back to the boat, where you'll enjoy a typical local fondue. At the same time, enjoy a private cruise on the waters of Lake Annecy. Back on dry land, stroll through the streets of Annecy to shop for local produce, before heading back to Lyon.

    After the drive with your private driver, you meet your guide, who leads you through the picturesque streets of the old town. It's here, on the castle esplanade, that you can retrace the history of the House of Savoy. You then reach the emblematic viewpoint of the Palais de l'Île, and discover its function. Pass the many churches and cathedrals, paying homage to Saint-François-de-Sales, and take the Pont des Amours, where your guide will tell you some fascinating anecdotes. Then it's back to the boat, where lunch awaits.

Our trip to Annecy was absolutely incredible. The tour guides were all 5 star- from the transportation, to the incredible boat tour with fondue and wine, to the tour of old town. I couldn’t recommend this tour more and I can’t wait to go back.
