Overview

I have prepared for you a rich itinerary around beautiful Verona. You will learn about the tragic love of Romeo and Juliet, how gladiators lived and died in the Arena, how the Roman Empire collapsed and how the ruling Scaliger dynasty created its medieval state. Ancient churches, squares, palaces and, of course, Juliet’s balcony are on our program!

  • Piazza Bra

    You will see the arrestocratic quarter that arose in the 15-16th century, designed by the great Venetian architect Michele San Michele. You will learn about the era of Italian reunification and what role the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuel II, played in this.

I will talk about the marble canopied tombs belonging to Can Grande I, Mastino II and Cansignorio.
