Discover one of Italy’s most traditional food markets, the colorful stands of the fresh daily market will grab attention of all your senses allowing your guide to describe to you all the types of food sold in the region including fruit, vegetables and meat. The guided food tour will show you the best dishes, samples of Venetian Cicchetti (tapas) like soft and succulent polenta chunks served with marinated seafood, baccalà mantecato a classic codfish Venetian dish and a rich lunch in a local trattoria. All that will tickle your taste buds and will be served accompanied with local wine. While you walk from one food stop to another, you’ll explore the narrow picturesque alleyways, hidden canal gems, ancient bars and shops.

You can tell that Gulianna loves Venice and the food/wine. Every location had great appetizers, wine, and I loved her “1 min” stops and explanations such as why the digital counter is so important

This is a must do in Venice! Vanessa was a great tour guide - we visited several locations to try local food and wine and ended with a lunch - it was so much food and we were very happy with the tour. The fish market was real cool and our tour guide was very informative along our whole tour through Venice - food and cultural!
