    Overview

    We will take you to the 15th-century Santo Domingo called Zona Colonial, where we will visit unique locations for photos and enter some of the most spectacular museums in the world. Cultural sights like Plaza de España and Calles las Damas (Ladies Street) got the name for having walked out of the ladies from the city every afternoon. Such unique places like the first cathedral of the new world and many other colonial locations are full of history. This tour is unique because you will get to know Colonial Zone but also one of the city's lungs for its beautiful underground lakes and green trees like el Parque Los Tres Ojos and get to know the best chocolate made from cacao. On this tour, you will have a private guide and transportation.

    1. One of our most hidden and beatifull places within the city, with amazing caves and cristal ponds. 30 minutes
    2. Columbus Lighthouse (Faro A Colon) Is a mausoleum monument located in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic, in tribute to Christopher Columbus. 30 minutes
    3. (Photos stop)The National Palace is a building in Santo Domingo, that houses the offices of the Executive Branch of the Dominican Republic. 10 minutes
    4. Parque Independencia Towering over the western edge of the Colonial City and facing the start of Calle El Conde, Independence Park ranks among the DR’s most sacred sites. Inside the walled and guarded landmark is the Altar de la Patria or a white-marble mausoleum housing the remains of the Founding Fathers of the Dominican Republic 15 minutes
    5. Calle El Conde Calle El Conde is an old street in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. For a time it was one of the main streets of Santo Domingo. Its name is due to the Count of Peñalva. 30 minutes
    6. Built between 1510 and 1540, the first cathedral of the Americas—known as Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica Nuestra Señora de la Encarcación o Anunciación, Primada de América—continues to stand tall in all of its glory over the heart of the Colonial City. The 500-year-old Gothic-style building continues to serve as the most important site for official ceremonies, and religious celebrations. Touring the interior reveals the cathedral’s ornate Gothic ceiling, colonial period oil paintings, sacred chapel rooms, as well as an area with gravestones containing the remains of archbishops. The remains of Christopher Columbus were found here in the 19th century. 30 minutes

The Colonial Gate 4D Cinema Promotes the short film "The Battle of Santo Domingo", winner of an award at the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair 2016 4D cinema arose from the need to tell Dominican history and culture in a different way in which visitors, who are usually tourists, have an unforgettable experience during their stay in the country. 30 minutes
    8. Museo del Ron y la Cana The Museum of Rum and Sugarcane is an interesting source of information on the history of the clothing that was used in colonial times to extract juice from sugar cane for processing Dominican rum. 30 minutes
    9. Zona Colonial Sightseeing tour through the Calle de las Damas (Lady's street) and the ruins of the first hospital in America (Ruinas de San Francisco and Hospital San Nicolás). 30 minutes
