As a suggestion, we start our day in Setúbal, walking along Luisa Todi Avenue, which is the most important avenue in Setúbal. Then we visit the Livramento Market, and São Filipe Fortress, which is a fortification located in Setúbal, classified as a national monument since 1933. It is located in the Arrábida Natural Park and is in a dominant position on a hill, opposite the city of Setúbal, overlooking the mouth of Sado River and the Atlantic Ocean.
Passing through Arrábida Hills, with its famous beaches of Galapagos and Galapinhos, known for being a piece of paradise on Earth, we head towards Azeitão, known for its artisanal cheese, regional confectionery, and pottery (tiles).
We will also stop in Palmela to visit Fort of Palmela, classified as a National Monument since 1910 and which will provide us with a wonderful view over the region.

Wine and tiles = a great time

We had a great time learning the history of the vineyard and loved the wine tasting at the end.
The surprise hit was the tile factory. We got to see how tiles were made (by hand and not an automated machine). We also got to make your own and have them shipped to our home.
Our tour guide Maria Madalena was amazing. She is very passionate about her job and also helped with taking photos and videos of memorable moments.
