This is the bucket-list cruise you need to do while in the Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre dal Mare is the oldest boat tour company in Riomaggiore with 13+ years of experience. Our team consists of professional, local captains, all raised on the sea with a vast knowledge of English and of the area. All of our other vessels are brand new, clean and spacious to ensure a safe, comfortable cruise. On this relaxing cruise, you'll get a front row view of the colorful Cinque Terre villages (a photographer's dream) and a unforgettable swim stop in the Ligurian Sea! Join us! Once on board, you won't want to leave.

Meeting points

Please check in 30 minutes prior to departure time. We are located in the marina in RIOMAGGIORE. Looking at the sea, our office is on the right hand side, under the archway (you will see Ristorante Dau Cila on your left). Look for us in the yellow Cinque Terre dal Mare Tshirts!

Cinque Terre (Pass By)

This is going to be the highlight of your European tour, combining a beautiful gozzo boat with dreamy views. Welcome aboard Cinque Terre dal Mare. With departure from our picturesque port of Riomaggiore, enjoy stunning views of all five Cinque Terre towns : We'll pause and get close to each village for photos you can only get by boat. If you're lucky enough, we'll spot a few dolphins swimming alongside the boat! Discover jaw dropping cliffs and hidden sea caves along the coastline. Jump off the boat and swim in crystalline waters for that once in a lifetime experience! Our boats are Ligurian "gozzo's", which are traditional boats used by locals for years. *Please note that this is a shared tour with a maximum of 12 guests on board.

Beautiful views, but make sure the waters are calm!

We were unable to finish the full tour, but what we did experience (view wise) was beautiful. Traveling by boat is an incredible way to view the five cities. We chose to move forward with the tour even though the sea was a bit rough. I don’t think my friend or I expected to feel as sea sick as we did. We made it a little over halfway through the tour before we asked to be dropped off in Vernazza. We did get to take a dip in the water though, which was refreshing! Our captain was great and stopped off the shore of each town to talk a bit about it. I definitely recommend this tour when the sea is calm. I can imagine it would have been a much more pleasurable experience and we would have been able to enjoy the sights at bit more if we weren’t fighting sea sickness. That was entirely on us though. We were given fair warning by staff. We just thought we were stronger than the sea! Totally worth it though!

Relaxing swim and great views

David, the guide, was great. The views of the 5 lands were amazing and was some of the shoreline. Swimming in the Mediterranean was excellent, I didn’t realize just how buoyant you are in seawater.

The 3-hour boat tour out of Riomaggiore is an absolute must-do if you're visiting Cinque Terre.

From the moment we set sail, the breathtaking views of the Ligurian coast and the charming, informative Captain Davide made the experience unforgettable. His deep knowledge of each town’s history brought the stories of Cinque Terre to life in a way that was both engaging and insightful. We had the opportunity to swim a few times in the crystal-clear waters, which was a perfect way to cool off and enjoy the stunning scenery from a unique perspective. The small group size made it easy to connect with fellow travelers, adding a friendly, social element to the adventure. And yes, ladies, if you’re lucky enough to have Davide as your captain, you’re in for an extra treat—his good looks and charisma only enhanced the overall charm of the tour! This boat trip was a highlight of my visit, blending relaxation, adventure, and local culture into one incredible experience.

It was a great boat trip. The leader of our tour was knowledgeable, friendly, focused on the enjoyment of the trip by all involved. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about Cinque Terra and enjoying a pleasant tour of the five villages with two stops for swimming in clean crystal clear blue waters

Beautiful views, perfect guide, amazing playlist, top quality service, super comfortable boat, everything very organized, very nice photos, it couldn't have been better. I thank this boat trip team from the bottom of my heart, especially David who showed us everything about Cinque Terre, and made us feel like we were in a movie. My favorite part was jumping off the boat and swimming for a while, btw thanks for the photos David! I will definitely book another trip with you.
